The beaches of le Mourillon
Starting from Fort St Louis, walk along the artificial beaches where you can have a swim, a drink. A little further on, the “sentier des douaniers” begins that will lead you to the unspoiled beaches of Mejean cove and Magaud cove, a very nice promenade along the corniche.
Many improvements have made this place very popular and enjoyable, playgrounds for children, showers around the beaches, skateboard ramp, shaded and maintained lawns, many restaurants, mini golf, dinghies rental, etc.
From the house, the beaches are within walking distance (0.6 km ~ 7 min).
Fort St. Louis and the beaches of La Mitre and Pipady
Starting from Fort St Louis to your right, walk along the sea by a very nice trail that takes you to the beaches of La Mitre and Pipady. Less known, these beaches are also supervised, you can rest on the sand among the rocks.
From the house, La Mitre is within walking distance (1 km ~ 12 min).
Picturesque downtown Le Mourillon
Le Mourillon is a colorful location, one of whose main interest is its market. You’ll find fruits and vegetables but also regional products and the famous Provencal fabrics.
You can also walk through the narrow streets of the neighborhood with evocative names and full of small shops and traditional restaurants.
From the house, the market square of Mourillon is within walking distance (0.4 km ~ 5 min).
This is a nice place to go even though the modern architecture is not of everyone’s taste. Exception vessels regularly moor at the dock of honor, in front of the City Hall Annex. Maybe you will have an opportunity to meet a schooner or a giant racing trimaran .
From the house, the harbor is within walking distance (1.5 km ~ 20 min).
Probably the most visited place. Companies propose a boat tour that is a treat for those who like warships. The youngest will be amazed by the frigates, destroyers, etc.. A good way to discover or rediscover the rich history of this naval port.
Toulon harbor is also the homeport of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. Although it is often not at home, mooring and each cast off is an event for the city and its inhabitants, a surprising and impressive spectacle.
Boarding for the visit of the harbor is at the port, without reservation.
Toulon is a port of departure to Corse and Sardinia.

Toulon is also known for its long history of rugby with its victories and defeats. Since 2007 the RCT joined back the TOP14. The team coach is Bernard Laporte since September 2011. In 2012 the RCT reached the French final championship 20 years after the last victory. In 2013 Toulon become European champion and in 2014 wins both European and French championship.
From the house, the stadium is within walking distance (1.1 km ~ 15 min).
